About us
Introduction
GroupBuzz has evolved from ClubBuzz, the much acclaimed web-based management solution for sports clubs. The basis of ClubBuzz’s success is the combination of a simple to populate website with on-line management of the membership. GroupBuzz has been designed to meet the demands of groups and organisations of all shapes and sizes who want a professional website and/or the means to manage their members and member payments.
Mission Statement
Our goal is to minimise the time and effort required by those responsible for managing community groups, whilst offering them high quality, effective and cost efficient web based management tools. We want our clients to enjoy the hobbies and activities they subscribe to, not spend their time and effort managing them!
The Result
The result is a comprehensive website managed without the need for any knowledge of IT and incorporating management features that dramatically reduce the burden of administering a website. With significant advantages for member based groups in terms of on-line payments and a comprehensive membership database, all this is available at a price that even the smallest group or organisation can afford!
There are two reasons why GroupBuzz has been so successful. Firstly it is designed by an insider. Its founder, Sarah Sedgwick, spent 20 years in leisure and club management in both the public and private sector as well as being an active member of several clubs. Secondly we listen to our clients – many of the developments made in our offering were initiated by our users, thereby adding even more to our “insider” philosophy.
Sarah also recognised that it wasn’t just professional clubs that required a strong website presence but also understood that many smaller clubs could not afford a solution that did them justice. Having established a value for money and highly successful sports based product her next move was to explore the needs of other types of clubs and community organisations by working with a number of non-sports based clubs, churches and community groups. That has led to the launch of GroupBuzz.
